Description
Freshly paved roads curve away in perfect geometry, unmarked by the weight of daily traffic. Low sun casts long shadows across the asphalt, turning new construction warm as the blue hour approaches but has not yet arrived. Street lamps stand ready but dormant, waiting for darkness.
The pause before a neighborhood wakes up. Houses in the distance catch light on terracotta roofs, looking almost established despite the raw earth and young plantings surrounding them. A fleeting balance between development and wilderness, between day and night.
