Street photography from cities around the world. Late nights at rail crossings, early mornings on empty platforms, wrong turns down side streets. Every shot is on location — never composited, never staged. The work lives in that space between architecture and atmosphere, where light does something worth printing.
Description
A narrow Tokyo street stacked floor to ceiling with illuminated signage — gyoza joints, neon kanji, cartoon mascots peeling from weather-worn facades. A cyclist in red threads between a pedestrian and a row of parked bicycles, moving through the corridor of light with the easy muscle memory of someone who takes this route every night. The depth compresses the scene into layers: figures, signs, trees, and the glow of a hundred small businesses reaching past each other for attention.
Vertical and dense, the way Tokyo side streets actually feel when you are standing in them. The image pulls you forward into the alley the way the smell of broth pulls you toward the counter. There is no single subject here — the whole passage is the subject, alive with the accumulated texture of a city that never finishes decorating itself.
