Sacraw Studios
Street photography from cities around the world. Late nights at rail crossings, early mornings on empty platforms, wrong turns down side streets. Every shot is on location — never composited, never staged. The work lives in that space between architecture and atmosphere, where light does something worth printing.
Description
Tokyo Skytree rises as a dark needle through a tangle of power lines and utility poles, framed by the narrow corridor of a residential side street. A single traffic light burns red at the intersection — the only saturated color in a composition reduced to silhouette and gradient. Rooftops crowd the lower third, antennas and air conditioning units adding texture to the skyline.
Blue hour in the back streets. The tower that cost fourteen billion yen, visible from a lane where the houses still have corrugated iron roofs and vending machines hum on the corner. Old Tokyo holding new Tokyo at arm's length, connected by the web of wires that neither era can seem to untangle. Cobalt fading to slate, punctuated by that single red dot.
