Sacraw Studios
Street photography from cities around the world. Late nights at rail crossings, early mornings on empty platforms, wrong turns down side streets. Every shot is on location — never composited, never staged. The work lives in that space between architecture and atmosphere, where light does something worth printing.
Description
A solitary figure descends concrete steps toward the Shonan coast, coat hem lifting in the sea breeze, canvas tote swinging at her hip. Below, Route 134 carries its usual traffic — a pink transport truck, a cyclist with a battered surfboard — everyone paused at the light where asphalt meets the Pacific.
Late autumn on the coast. Summer humidity burned off, leaving the light sharp and saline. The diagonal of the staircase, the horizontal band of the sea, a single vertical presence suspended between earth and water. Palette of camel, concrete, cobalt, and the unexpected rose of the truck.
